Cheyenne Soccer Club

Congrats Jaiden!
Jaiden Lee
This month's player spotlight focuses on Jaiden Lee from Cheyenne. Jaiden plays in the TOPSoccer program. Jaiden has been part of an adaptive soccer program since she was four years old. Since her motor skills are a challenge , it wasn't feasible to play on a city league. TOPSoccer allows her to be part of a real team and have an authentic experience. She loves being able to play soccer!

"Jaiden participated in the first TOPSoccer Border War with TOPSoccer players from Colorado last month in Ft. Collins. Jaiden scored the first ever Border War goal, and ended up with a hat-trick during the game. She is awesome, and it was so cool watching her dominate," says her coach, Brian Longbottom.
Jaiden can play any position. She is a strong forward/midfielder who also enjoys coaching and being a buddy!

Jaiden is in the CLAS Program. It is a community based living skills program in Laramie County. She also does volunteer work at various businesses in town, including the Ekidz program at her church where she works with children 4-6 years old. Jaiden likes to knit and crochet, go to the movies, play guitar, and make banana bread. She also loves Equine therapy and always sees the good in everyone. Her favorite show to watch is iCarly.

The Cheyenne Soccer Club is proud to offer the US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer Program. The TOPS program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a mental or physical disability. Our goal is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family.

TOPSoccer was formed to perpetuate the US Youth Soccer mission statement which is, in part, "to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of America's youth through the sport of soccer at all levels of age and competition." There are thousands of children with disabilities who need, and can be provided with, the opportunity to play soccer through the TOPSoccer program.

The TOPS Program will begin June 20, 2018 and run through August 8, 2018, taking the weeks of  Frontier Days and Fourth of July off. It will be held at North Park Soccer Complex every Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m.    They will be assigned a "buddy" to help them during practice if needed. There is no cost for the participant and siblings are encouraged to participate.  To register your child, and siblings , for this wonderful opportunity, please email your child's name, date of birth and jersey size to carey2316@gmail.com..
